Raising money off a tragedy

“Guns Save Lives Day” is in eleven days. They’re planning events, rallies and fundraisers in all 50 states.

So far, our open letter to urge the cancellation of “Guns Save Lives Day” has garnered 5,795 signatures.

But despite the great response, it’s not enough.

Sign our open letter to help stop “Guns Save Lives Day” from tarnishing the first anniversary of Newtown and bringing more pain into the lives of the victims’ families, friends, and communities.

Every signature adds to the groundswell of opposition to “Guns Save Lives Day,” and sheds light on a group that doesn’t think twice about using the murder of 20 children to promote its own narrow political agenda.

As one of our letter signers noted, “‘Guns Save Lives Day’ drips with irony … and blood.”
